I Believe

Before all time began
Before Earth, Moon, Stars, Sun and man
There was only, solely, One
One Father God,
One Spirit, Son

I believe angels fly up high
I believe some fell from the sky
I believe in sin
I believe in grace
Grace hides sin from Father's face

I believe in God's creative force
Not chance's random evolving course
I believe in life made by design
Not man's efforts to define

A starting point, How time began
How first we slithered, crawled and swam
How first we swang and then we ran
Unchaperoned, we took the land

I believe that Truth is Truth alone
Truth is mine and yours to own
Truth will never ever sway
He is the life, the truth, the way
